Probably about 75 here in Spokane, WA. Six of us went there together, made it an event. About 1/4 folks too young to have ever seen the band. Most folks were dressed with Dead t shirts or tie dyes or the women in peasant dresses. There was lots of clapping, some yelling out like at shows, a few folks dancing. We were moving in our seats for much of it. I was reminded of how energetic Jerry was and bright and enthused. The close up shots of the faces were intense, guy next to us yelled "nice teeth" when Bobby was up. Loved all the shots of the audience in the movie, these are my peers. What energy! How beautiful everyone was and how many of the women in the movie audience still are at 40-50 pus. Did you notice Ned Lagin in there playing keyboards? I hope they do this again next year maybe with Closing Of Winterland.

AMC in Emeryville, Calif (next to Berkeley and Oakland): The theater was 80% full, but it showed in the multiplex's largest-sized, stadium-seating auditorium. (And it played at another half dozen theaters in the Bay Area.) The sound was fantastic! I didn't notice if it was DTS or Dolby, but the re-mastered version used the most of every channel. At least half the audience dressed up for the event in a t-shirt from a favorite GD tour and some were head-to-toe in their best vintage 1974 concert apparel. Lots of applause between songs. Great vibe.
